What's wrong with the traditional paradigm, that Class Reunions occur once every 5 years? Our 1976-1986 Uni High experience implicitly spanned multiple classes! If you miss one, it is a decade before you see old friends again! So Four-Square megareunions occur counter-cyclically -- every 3 or 4 years, honoring one of the school’s “varsity sports" of the day!

Condolences to the Parker Family on '82 Ken's passing

Since hearing that Ken had passed suddenly, I'm so grateful to have seen him at the Four-Square reunion.  Ken was the perfect example of someone I hadn't seen since graduation and as soon as I heard his laugh again outside the door of Uni on that Friday - all kinds of fun memories came flooding back.  Literally flooding.  And there was no other way that I would have been able to recall those memories from my middle-aged memory without the trigger of hearing his unique laugh.  So the reunions really reinforce the ties to our own memories.  And now that he is gone, I wouldn't have the ties to the vivid memories if we both hadn't been to the reunion.     -- Amy Pearson Ball '81
