You’ve no doubt seen a Privacy Policy or two -- usually pages and pages of legalese to protect the company/organization.  By contrast, we’re going to keep this simple…

1. The Four-Square Ambassadors and Committee members -- all volunteers -- have signed the same agreement that University of Illinois employees must sign regarding privacy and maintenance of confidential alumni data. 

2. While the informational home page of this site is available to the public, only members (alums and faculty) are provided password-protected accounts in order to see the Community Directory and event information. 

3. Multiple settings are provided for discretional disclosure in the Community Directory -- reveal only that information you feel comfortable with classmates knowing.

4. This both increases the community functionality and reduces the number of requests by alums for other alums’ contact info, but you can still elect to keep such information confidential.

5. We will not sell, rent, or otherwise share your data with anyone except for Uni High’s Alumni Affairs office.

6. By using this site, you acknowledge that best practices are being employed to make this a safe environment and agree to hold harmless any volunteers involved in this nonprofit effort.
